How Paintings are Shipped

Each painting is more than a product — it’s a personal expression of Charleston’s charm, mood, and memory. That’s why every shipment is handled with the same level of care and attention that goes into creating the artwork itself.

Thoughtful Protection

Original watercolor paintings are placed inside crystal-clear, archival-safe sleeves. This protects the surface from dust, smudging, and moisture — preserving every brushstroke and detail of your Southern coastal or Charleston street scene.

To ensure it stays flat during transit, we include a firm backing board — acid-free and sturdy — behind the sleeve. This keeps the artwork safe from bending or creasing.

The protected piece is then wrapped in clean, acid-free tissue paper to add a gentle touch — and a moment of unwrapping joy.

Elegant Packaging

Each order is carefully packed in a rigid, stay-flat mailer or custom-sized flat box. These are durable enough to protect your painting in transit, but still minimal and elegant — perfect for a Charleston art gift.

We occasionally add a layer of kraft wrap or a waterproof outer mailer depending on weather or distance.

Domestic Shipping & Delivery

Paintings are typically shipped within 2–3 business days after your order is placed. We use USPS or UPS depending on your location and will send tracking info as soon as your order is on its way.
